This year, the AANHPI Summit will focus on shattering the stigma and reclaiming and redefining the Asian American community’s mental health.
The Asian Pacific Fund’s annual Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Summit, currently in its fifth iteration, is an opportunity to engage across often siloed sectors – nonprofit, corporate, media, government, and philanthropy – to highlight pressing needs and promising solutions that can positively impact the well-being of the Bay Area AANHPI community.
The event will look at the mental wellness of AANHPIs and explore innovative strategies to redefine and reclaim what mental health means for AANHPIs, remove barriers to access, destigmatize treatment, and build a culture of healing and connection.
The Summit is an intervention grounded in the belief that communities have the answers to the most daunting problems, including mental health and well-being.
Held on June 6th, 2024, at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center in Oakland, California.
