Nearly a third of all Americans have been affected by intimate partner violence (IPV) at some point in their lives. Health and behavioral health care professionals are well-positioned to respond to cases of domestic violence or intimate partner violence. The trust within the provider and client/patient relationship offers an opportunity to identify and support persons who may be victimized by IPV. This interactive webinar will review risk factors of IPV, screening tools for considerations, support strategies, and resources.
All participants are required to attend the entire training, turn on their video cameras, and actively participate in order to receive a certificate of completion.
