This webinar is session 2 in County Health Rankings and Roadmaps’ Peer-to-Peer series. This session will be about having the opportunity to reflect on your own work to create opportunities for youth to be active community leaders, explore ways to build your youth engagement skills, and enhance your professional network.
Young people play a powerful role in leading positive community change. They often bring new ideas, new energy, and their own lived experiences that help foster inclusive communities for everyone. Finding ways to reach out, create seats at decision-making tables, and support leadership development among youth and young adults is an important part of building healthy communities for generations to come.
This peer-to-peer learning opportunity will bring together a group of youth and adult partners to discuss a common topic. This will be a facilitated conversation rather than a formal presentation. Please come ready to share your own work and bring things you want to learn from others -including youth and young adults -working in the youth engagement space.
