The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Office of Behavioral Health Equity (OBHE) invites you to “Connecting the Dots: Unifying Service Silos to Promote a More Equitable System of Care” webinar on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm EDT. This informative panel discussion will highlight individuals’ challenges in navigating disconnected systems and explore strategies for policymakers to bridge care gaps and eliminate barriers to services.
Researchers have been studying the overdose epidemic in New York State since 2017. They have surveyed about 300 people from rural, urban, and suburban communities on the front lines. These include local officials, law enforcement, health and other service providers, and people who use drugs and their families. Please join us in hearing from them and other experts about their experiences and efforts to enhance service access.
