NNED Partner of the Month

In order to highlight pockets of excellence across the country the NNED selects an organization to highlight once a month. Asian Americans for Community Involvement has been selected as the NNED Partner of the Month for May 2013 in honor of Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) is the largest community-based organization focused on the Asian community in Santa Clara County, California. Their mission is to improve the health, mental health and well-being of individuals, families and the Asian community by: (1) providing an array of high quality health and human services, (2) sharing expertise about the Asian community’s needs and best service delivery practices, and (3) providing Asian leadership in advocating on key health and human services issues.

The organization participated in the NNEDLearn 2013 training track -- Achieving Whole Health for Asian Americans: Balancing Body, Mind, and Spirit, held April 28 to May 1 in New Mexico.
