12th Annual National Fatherhood & Families Conference

Celebrating Diversity – Celebrating Fatherhood

March 1-4, 2011

The Fathers and Families Coalition of America (FFCA) is in search of passionate professionals who provide services to fathers, families and communities to submit proposals for conference workshops. Applications are due Septmeber 25, 2010. To submit a proposal download the instructions by clicking here.

Each workshop will be approximately 90 minutes in length and should be able to provide hands-on tools for the participants.  This could be in the form of worksheets, a roadmap of program implementation, interventions or any other tool that service providers could utilize in working with fathers, families and communities. It is highly encouraged for the workshop to tie into the theme of the conference.  Presenters are recommended to provide insight and information related to enhancing the abilities of organizations and practitioners to effectively provide services to fathers of diverse backgrounds, such as, issues regarding health, education, religion, cultural diversity, justice system, grandfathers raising  grandchildren, fathers with children with special needs, foster fathers, incarcerated fathers, and more. FFCA is also seeking workshops that provide information that can be transferred into practice and expanding the overall abilities of organizations into best practices.
