Annual Conference Improving Services for Children and Families: “Stigma =  Discrimination and Disparities”

Proposals Due by October 15, 2010

This conference’s purpose is to share learning experiences on what Public Systems, Community Based Organizations, Schools, Researchers, Families, Youth,  and Each of US are doing or could do to eliminate stigma, discrimination and disparities in our communities. The goal is for those attending: is to learn, tools that each of us can take home and implement in our communities.

Programs that demonstrate collaboration, effectiveness, or are evidence-based programs, interventions or research are strongly encouraged. Information regarding collaboration, program or research evidence-base, effectiveness or efficacy should be included in your abstract.

  1. Contact information: Name, address, telephone, fax, and email
  2. Abstract should be no more than 300 words and include learning objectives.
  3. Research abstracts should include: Introduction, methods, results and conclusions
  4. Presenter(s) brief bio and/or credentials
  5. Preference will be given to proposals that demonstrate system collaboration, effectiveness or efficacy
