Wednesday, February 21, 2018 | 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. EST
The use of Storytelling as a cultural tool for healing tribal youth and families. Since the 1978 American Indian Religious Freedom Act passed the right for tribes to practice their individual traditional cultures has been the catalyst for tribes to promote healing for tribes. Storytelling is the oral tradition of passing down knowledge, legacy and is therapeutic for their members.
For this webinar the focus will be strengthening the parent/caregiver(s) relationship with their youth by using storytelling both for listening and telling.
